The island of Maui, HI is resplendent with iconic “Hawaiian Paradise” motifs. This image is from Maui, but not what most would consider a typical representation of the island.
It is a wonderful collection of natural textures. The eye is moved over the image jumping from the texture of the tree, to the texture of the sky, to the texture of the water, and on and on. There are several distinct textures in this composition to keep the eyes captivated.
A more sublime observation is the slant of the tree matching a slant in the cloud formation above it. |
