Within a city park in Houston, TX, there are life-size deer made of concrete re-bar. This image shows the antlers from underneath. The resultant abstraction shows lines and cures mimicking cloud formations. The centered sun being blocked by some of the sculputre shows how sun and earth are best appreciated when considered together.

It is this unusual and unexpected view of public art that is often overlooked. Except for now.
